Teething is a process where a baby's teeth start appearing from the gums. It usually begins approximately at five months of age although might appear earlier in some infants. The complete process of teething takes more than a year.

During teething it causes the gums little pain due to which babies feel very uncomfortable and become distractive. This is the basic symptom of teething is chewing which may cause the baby to drool several times. However many babies do not have any trouble with teething other symptoms can be diarrhea or simply throwing up several times.
